Sadly, because the weather forecast on Friday evening before the Light Up the Mission event showed 40-70% thunderstorms, we cancelled the event. It was a very difficult decision to make after four months of hard work from our committee but the safety of our participants and volunteers was a top priority. Unfortunately the loss of funds from the cancellation leaves us lacking of our fundraising goals and many boxes of wonderful Glow in the Dark tee shirts remain in our hands.
